ABOUT ME:

For those of you who don't know me, I am a multi-media artist trying to make things work in Portland, Oregon. In 2006 I graduated from Western Washington University's Fine Art program with an emphasis on painting. I also write and draw comics, dabble in alternative process photography, and take on occasional graphic design work.

ABOUT MY WORK:

Comics

Aside from occasional collaborations, I write, illustrate and self-publish all of my comics. If you would like to buy any, they can be purchased here on my site or from a growing list of stores in Portland. You can sometimes find me exhibiting at comics fests too, check the goings on page to see if any are happening soon. To see more about each of my comics take a look here.

Stores with my comics:
Reading Frenzy
Together Gallery
Floating World Comics
Comic Relief (Berkley, CA)

Paintings

I've worked in a variety of styles, but consistently paint paint in a loose, impressionistic stlye. I generally work in pretty large scale, in the range of two to four feet. I've always channeled my interest in animals to my work, so that has been the predominant subject matter of my paintings. To see some some of my old favorite paintings click here.

Starting in 2009 I started taking things in a new direction, and began painting old tools on salvaged siding instead of canvas. Check them out here, or see them in person and various locations in Portland. Check the goings on page to see where they showing next.
